A Table d’Hôte in France has become a well established way to make a small to modest income in the tourist industry. Most of all running a Table d’Hôte is based on the passion to serve good food and the enjoyment of meeting people.
A Table d’Hôte is a reasonably defined business. However to where it becomes a restaurant is not clearly defined. It is possible to stretch the definition and make a Table d’Hôte look like a small restaurant.
